Walk descriptions
Section 15 London Loop: Hatch End to Elstree
Section 15 covers 8.3miles (13.3km) of rural countryside linking Harrow with Hertfordshire. Points of interest include: Bentley Priory, Harrow Weald Common, Grim's Dyke and Stanmore Little Common.
Capital Ring Section 9: Greenford to South Kenton
Section 9 covers 5.5 miles (8.8 km) and links Harrow with neighbouring boroughs of Ealing and Brent. Discover Points of interst include: Harrow on the Hill and the private buildings of Harrow School.
Pinner Grimsdyke Circular Walk
A gentle circular walk through some of the nicest parts of rural Harrow covering a distance of 4.8 miles (7.7km). Points of interest include: Grim's Dyke open space, Grim's Ditch and Oxhey Lane Farm. This walk can be combined with the Bentley Priory Circular walk.
Bentley Priory Circular walk
A strenuous circular walk which includes steep slopes and undulating terrain covering a distance of 4.5 miles (7.2 km). Points of interest include: Stanmore Common and Little Common, Heriots private deer park, Bentley Priory Nature Reserve and Harrow Weald Common. At Harrow Weald Common you can reconnect with section 15 of the London Loop.
Celandine Route
The Celandine Route is named after the lesser Celandine plant which thrives in these wooded areas. The route is level and covers a distance of 9.8 miles (15.8km), linking Harrow with Hillingdon. Points of interest include: Pinner Village, the River Pinn and Eastcote House gardens.
Harrow Heritage trails
The Harrow Heritage Trust produce a range of five leaflets which cover the areas of Stanmore, Pinner, Grimsdyke, Hatch End and Harrow on the Hill. The guides feature wildlife, and places of historical and architectural interest, for children to look out for along the way.
