Harrow School's famous Fourth Form Room provided the ideal setting for Hogwarts Library in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone.  Another of the School's classrooms was also used in the memorable scene where young wizards learn to levitate feathers.

The School’s impressive Speech Room appeared as the huge lecture theatre in the 1996 remake of The Saint starring Val Kilmer.  Fans of the dashing D'Arcy may well recognise the School's War Memorial which provided the backdrop for the fencing scene in the BBC’s adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.

Scenes from the cult 1970's horror classic The Omen were filmed at Northwick Park Hospital.  The gothic Grim’s Dyke Hotel providing an ideal setting for several Hammer House of Horror films including the Devil Rides Out with Christopher Lee. On a similar level of horror, some might say, Grim’s Dyke hotel, has also featured wedding scenes from Eastenders, as has Christ Church, Roxeth.

On a war-time theme, Harrow skies have provided the ideal backdrop to scenes from the Battle of Britain.   The scenes were filmed over the RAF base Bentley Priory, which provided the real life headquarters of Strike Command during World War II.

The inauspicious back street of Albury Drive in Pinner has also shot to fame by providing a typical “suburban setting” for advertising campaigns from such high profile names as Muller Rice, Mastercard, Esso and Heinz.
