Located in London Travelcard zone 5,Harrow is only ten miles from central London yet on the border of rural Hertfordshire. Well connected by both train and underground, Harrow is also easily accessible by car from the M25 and the M1.

 

Flying: connections to Harrow from Stansted and Luton airports can be found on the Metropolitan line at both King's Cross St Pancras and Liverpool Street for the Stansted Express.

Top tip: if you are travelling light, the 140 bus provides a direct link between Heathrow Airport and Harrow on the Hill bus station for the bargain price of £2.00 each way and 90p if using your oyster card, approximate journey time 60 minutes)

 If travelling from Stansted airport, you can take a coach from the airport as far as Liverpool Street and then connect to the Metropolitan line which provides a direct service to Harrow.  A return journey by coach costs £14.00 as opposed to £36.00 on the Stansted Express.  

Underground: Harrow on the Hill station is linked to the Metropolitan line and is easily within reach of Baker Street and King's Cross St Pancras. 

Weekend underground disruption: Transport for London are currently carrying out improvement works to the London underground during weekends and public holidays.  A rail replacement bus service is provided during these times - find out in advance, if this will affect your journey.

 Harrow and Wealdstone station is situated on the Bakerloo line, which provides a direct route to Paddington (Heathrow Express), Oxford Circus, Charing Cross and Waterloo. Stanmore station is located on the Jubilee line and South Harrow and Rayners Lane stations are located on the Piccadilly line.

 Overground trains: Harrow and Wealdstone Station is part of the British Rail route from Euston which provides a quick route into London, (approx 15 minutes).

Watford Junction is easily accessible from Harrow and provides an interchange with West Coast services to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Scotland. Chiltern line trains provide a direct route to Marylebone Station from Harrow on the Hill station.

Buses: Regular services are in operation to Heathrow, Wembley, Edgware, Golders Green and Brent Cross. Night buses run from Harrow and Wealdstone to Trafalgar Square.
