Long view Canons Park On the border of leafy Hertfordshire, Harrow boasts more than 500 areas of open greenbelt space - that's equivalent to eight Hyde Parks. 

 Three of Harrow's parks now have green flag status with three more under current consideration.  Harrow is also home to one of few remaining 1970's subterranean skateboard parks.

 Compete in your very own Olympic Games on the West London marathon route from the 1908 and 1948 London Olympics.  With 2012 fast approaching, there are  ten good reasons why Harrow is the ideal location to stay during the Games.

Alternativey go back to nature on the Bentley Priory Circular Walk or take a tour of Harrow's famous Hill with this free downloadable map and podcast.   If you are looking for company there are also now regular FREE walks around the borough with the Harrow PCT and also with the Ramblers Assocation. 

 Take advantage of the London LoopCapital Ring and London Cycle Networks which all include Harrow on their itineraries.  Our map of Harrow's cycle lanes will also help you navigate your way around the borough.   

Golfing enthusiasts will find an amazing array of clubs and facilities all within a very short distance of central London. The Grim's Dyke Golf Club, Pinner Hill Golf Club and Stanmore Golf Club are all well-established, 18 hole courses which all accept visitors.  For a shorter day's golf, the Harrow Hill Golf Club offers an excellent 9 hole facility.  If you've ever fancied your chances in the US Masters series now you can do just that over the border in Brent at Playgolf Northwick Park.

If rain stops play, you will also find a great selection of indoor sporting facilities.
